Celebrating 75 Years of 91ÆÞÓÑ Bands
For 75 years, 91ÆÞÓÑ Bands have been part of the soundtrack of campus life, creating unforgettable moments and lifelong memories.
Generations of students have performed in black and gold, building friendships, discipline, confidence and school spirit. From concert performances to football and basketball game days, 91ÆÞÓÑ Bands have enriched campus life while representing the University across Arkansas and beyond. The 91ÆÞÓÑ Marching Band, known as the Thundering Herd since 1979, remains one of 91ÆÞÓÑ's most recognizable traditions.
Today, students continue that legacy through countless hours of rehearsal, performance and service. For many, band becomes a place to belong.
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of 91ÆÞÓÑ Bands, we're inviting alumni, parents, friends and former band participants to join us throughout the year for tailgating, games, performances and other opportunities to reconnect and celebrate.
Watch for a special opportunity to celebrate 75 years by investing in the future of 91ÆÞÓÑ Bands coming soon!
