The provides graduate students with an opportunity to participate in conducting high-quality empirical research beyond the realm of traditional coursework. The SPEL experience involves hands-on mentorship by faculty investigators and collaboration with other student researchers to develop original research to present at academic conferences or publish in scholarly journals.
